Product development for wearables
Back sleeping is a common cause of snoring. A classic solution is tying a ball on your back, which wakes you up when changing positions. A downside however is that it can lead to sleep deprivation. After struggles with snoring and the ball “solution” himself, Will Nobel invented the Snore-Breaker.
ManGo was requested to develop the new generation Snore-Breaker. A wearable device, to stop users from snoring. When turning, the device which is positioned on your back is activated and emits vibrations. Giving incentive to switch sleeping position, without waking you up.

UN Goal
User centered design
Over the years Snore breaker collected feedback from users for improvements. Desires were: a chargeable battery, larger switch and improved comfort. In brainstorm sessions, our team came up with multiple solutions. And our critical review of the original product resulted in further improvements which were integrated in the concept design.
During development several prototypes were made and tested with users. The input from these tests was used to optimize comfort, functionality and fine tune the haptic feedback.

Product manufacturing
Besides design and engineering, ManGo was responsible for certification, electronics development, packaging design, sourcing and manufacturing. With assistance of our team in China production was arranged, involving several rounds of factory samples for further optimizations.
