Adam Health set out to create the world's first at home erection health tracker, an accessible tool that helps men understand their vascular, hormonal, and metabolic wellbeing. Traditional medical setups are bulky, stigmatizing, and impractical for everyday use, while consumer wearables fail to measure functional biomarkers that reflect real health changes. The existing Adam prototype was too large, 3D printed and unsuited for mass production. Adam partnered with ManGo Product Design to transform this early concept into a discreet, precise and comfortable device that empowers men to monitor nocturnal erections privately and confidently. The ambition was to remove stigma, create a new category of men's health technology and deliver meaningful insight from the comfort of home.
From Taboo to Thoughtful Design
The redesign focused on balancing medical reliability with an approachable aesthetic, steering deliberately away from both clinical devices and sexual wellness products. ManGo refined the product architecture and design language, selecting a calm marine blue aligned with Adam’s brand identity while avoiding the sterility of traditional white healthcare products. Key visual elements, such as a distinctive surface cut and subtle ribbed textures, were developed to establish a recognizable identity for future Adam Health products. At the same time, the team reengineered the internal layout for manufacturability, ensuring the device could be produced at scale with consistent quality and minimal material waste.
Engineered for Comfort and Confidence
Comfort and unobtrusiveness guided every technical decision. ManGo minimized the overall height of the device by carefully evaluating the stack up of internal components and production tolerances, resulting in a significantly thinner design than the earlier version. All areas touching the skin were widened and finished in soft, flexible materials to distribute pressure and maintain comfort during sleep. A dual string mechanism prevents twisting, while the adaptive band accommodates anatomies from 5 to 17 cm. Through multiple prototypes, the precision reel and magnetic sensing mechanism were refined for smooth, reliable movement and simplified assembly. The result is a featherlight 20 gram device that measures minuscule circumference changes with millimeter level accuracy without pressure or restriction.

The final Adam Sensor transforms an invisible physiological process into an accessible health metric, enabling men to track nocturnal erections as a key indicator of cardiovascular, hormonal and metabolic health. Activated with a single button and paired with the Adam app, it provides clear, private insights based on three nights of baseline data and ongoing periodic tracking. Discreet, durable and built for long term use with replaceable components, the sensor supports both personal wellbeing and preventive healthcare.
